Quilt Paradise became a homebased business in May 2007. We do machine quilting for customers. Please see the machine quilting part of this site for prices and requirements. We have battings, cotton backings, cotton 45" fabrics and threads for sale, and also some notions. Appointments are requested, please telephone ahead, as by just dropping in, you may be disappointed.  

Quilt Paradise is owned by Sandra Fisher. She has many years experience in the sewing industry and made her first quilt by the time she was 16 years of age. It was made from hand-carded wool batts, which were stitched by hand into a comforter. This was then covered by a pieced cover to protect the comforter. Since the first quilt, she has made many quilts. These quilts were given as gifts to family and friends, or charities.

In 2004, Sandra and Dave settled in the community of Maidstone, Saskatchewan, it was then that a quilting machine and frame were purchased. A dream became a reality! A Quilting Studio! Where creations of fabric and threads are done with various techniques including bobbin work, thread painting, free motion embroidery, applique, trapunto and many more. Sandra loves learning new techniques and creating new patterns. She also loves to pass this on to students in the many classes that she teaches. Her teaching has taken her to many areas in Saskatchewan and into other provinces.
